A lifelong Columbia resident, I graduated from the University of Missouri with an Accounting degree in 1979. After working for State Farm in our Accounting Department in Bloomington, Illinois and in Columbia, I became a State Farm agent in 1984. I have been providing Columbia and Boone County residents with auto, home, health and life insurance for over 37 years. I believe the most important service I perform is to help our customers make informed decisions about their insurance needs. And equally as important, we provide prompt and professional service after the sale.

I enjoy playing golf, chess, and following my favorite sports teams. I also enjoy following my 3 grandchildren's activities in baseball, softball, volleyball, and diving.

I have worked with State Farm for over 40 years starting in the Missouri Regional Office. I worked in the Billing Dept and Auto Company. During this time I earned my Bachelors Degree in Business from Columbia College. I have been with Mike's office for 7 years and am licensed to assist you with your insurance needs. In my spare time I enjoy following my 6 grandchildren's activities, which include baseball, softball, horse showmanship, and volleyball.

Born and raised in Columbia, my family's work took us all over the United States for many years. In 2020 I moved back to the Columbia area and am enjoying renewing many old friendships and look forward to making new acquaintances. I have a degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from the University of Missouri and am a retired educator. I am licensed in auto and fire insurance. I am also the Director of Children's Ministry at Community UMC. My family includes a son, daughter in law, and 2 grandchildren, and enjoy attending their many activities. I enjoy playing the piano, along with genealogy research.
